Civil Engineer Required on Contract for Fixed Tenure

Qualification:
Candidate from civil engineering background holding BE(CIVIL)/DIPLOMA (CIVIL)

Experience:
Experienced in civil work (BE – 3 years / Diploma – 5 years) for comprising of civil repairing, waterproofing treatment, plumbing, painting etc. in large housing society having minimum of 100+ flats. Retired Engineers below 65 years of age may also apply.

Tenure:
1 year may be extendable for another 6 months at the same rate, terms and conditions.

Remuneration:
Not a bar for right candidate.

Job Description:
a) Identification of extent and type of repairing work.
b) Estimation of repairing and painting work with suitable paint.
c) Preparation of technical documents including estimate, tender schedule/document and BOQ
d) Selection of suitable contractor on two bid tendering system.
e) Supervising repairing, waterproofing treatment, painting works etc.
f) Proper planning to execute the job in a systematic and time bound manner supported by bar chart or pert chart.
g) Measurement of executed job (items of works) in units and percentage completion and recommend for payment.
h) Managing multiple teams at the same time.
i) Managing vendors.
j) Preparing and managing project plan, estimate deviation and adopt planning.
k) Regular reporting to the management

Academic qualification & experience credentials should be supported by copy of certificates from reputed institute / previous employer which will be verified during interview with original copy of certificates.
